Texas Tech kicker Trey Wolff put the Red Raiders ahead of the No. 22 Texas Longhorns by three points by hitting a 45-yard field goal with 21 seconds remaining in regulation, but it wasn't until overtime that he delivered the final blow of the game.

Texas tied the game at the end of regulation with a 48-yard field goal, but star Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson fumbled on the first possession of overtime. Then, Wolff hit a 20-yard game-winning field goal to start the celebration in Lubbock. The Red Raiders defeated the Longhorns, 37-34, in overtime. It is the first time Texas Tech has defeated Texas in Lubbock since 2008.
