WATCH: Time-lapse of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium converting from soccer arena to NFL field

This is really cool to see. There’s a new time-lapse video from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium showing the venue’s conversion from a pro soccer venue to an NFL field, complete with seating changes and a total overhaul of the field of play. This is all being done ahead of Sunday’s game between the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings to help kick off Week 4 of the NFL season.

It’s not the Caesars Superdome, but nowhere else is. There’s something to be said for playing from one of the most iconic soccer venues England has to offer, though, and the Saints will be ready.

Saints kicker Wil Lutz told WWL’s Steve Geller that the change in venue isn’t an issue for him, noting that London stadiums are built to shield against the wind more than most of their American counterparts — Lutz says he was a spectator at a soccer match with 25 mile-per-hour winds whipping around outside, but he “didn’t feel a thing” inside. Hopefully it helps him improve on his kicks, having connected on just 3 of 6 field goal tries so far.
