Watch Trump tour an Arizona mask manufacturer as ‘Live and Let Die’ plays in factory

The Guns N’ Roses rendition of “Live and Let Die” blared through the factory sound system as President Donald Trump toured the facility in Phoenix, Arizona, Tuesday, according to multiple sources.

Trump was touring a Honeywell aerospace factory, which has a contract with the Department of Defense to make N95 safety masks, CNBC reports.

TV pool video first shown on Reuters and PBS shows the president touring the factory as “Live and Let Die,” originally a track for the 1973 James Bond film of the same name, plays from the factory sound system.

Trump and his staff did not appear to catch on to the song playing in the background, at least based on what’s apparent in the videos of the event.

Many people also criticized the president for not wearing a mask.

“President Trump is in a mask factory, not wearing a mask,” Washington Post reporter Zach Brown tweeted.

CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller said on Twitter the president was “wearing protective glasses while on tour of N95 face mask production line at Honeywell plant, but not a face mask.”

“While Pres Trump did not wear a mask on his visit to Honeywell, his audience did,” Knoller tweeted later, sharing a picture of people wearing masks and sitting six feet apart as they listen to Trump speak in Phoenix.

The Trump campaign explained the president’s lack of face mask in a reply to Knoller’s tweet.

“A White House official said that the facility said officials were not required to wear masks but to take all precautions,” the tweet read.

Vice President Mike Pence was also recently criticized for not wearing a mask during an April 28 visit to The Mayo Clinic. Mayo Clinic confirmed to Politico and CBS reporters that Pence was notified of the facility’s mask policy before his visit, but it’s unclear if he was directly asked to wear a mask or made aware of the guidance.

Pence later admitted that he “should have worn a mask,” Politico reported.
