Watch U.S. Army Artillery Testing Blow Up a Bunch of Cars

From Popular Mechanics

The military buys a lot of weapons, which means it has to test a lot of weapons. Occasionally theses video get put online so regular people like us can enjoy a bunch of awesome explosions. Case in point: This video of Raytheon's M982 Excalibur guided artillery shell.

The M982 Excalibur is an artillery shell that uses GPS to pinpoint a target from up to 35 miles away. In the video, the U.S. Army tests the Excalibur at all sorts of ranges against all sorts of targets, and it seems the Excalibur passed with flying colors. Even at extreme ranges, the Excalibur rarely missed, and even then only by a few feet.

I think I'll skip parking my car in the desert from now on.
