How to watch the U.S. figure skating championships in Columbus on NBC4

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — For the first time, the best American figure skaters will all be coming to Columbus for the national championships.

The 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Championships will take place at Nationwide Arena Tuesday through Sunday, with championship, junior, and novice-level events throughout the week. Off the ice, there will be events that feature American figure skating legends and so much more around Columbus.

If you cannot attend at Nationwide Arena, NBC4 will have live coverage throughout the weekend, showing the conclusion of multiple headline events. Figure skating is separated into four disciplines: men’s singles, women’s singles, pairs, and ice dancing. Three of the disciplines have the athletes complete two routines — a short program and a free skate. Ice dancing consists of a rhythm program and a free program.

In each discipline, the free skating section concludes the event and is followed by a medal ceremony. Here is the full schedule of events at Nationwide Arena and how to watch them:

Note: All championship-level practices will be streamed live on Peacock, a platform that is owned by NBC and not NBC4’s parent company, Nexstar. To see the practice schedule, click here.
