How to watch UConn women’s basketball: Fan viewer’s guide to Huskies games locally and from across the country

The 2022-23 UConn women’s basketball season is almost underway. As excitement for another year of Huskies’ hoops builds, you might be wondering how to watch and listen to games.

The majority of UConn’s games will be on SNY, the official television home of the Huskies. Starting with the season opener against Northeastern on Nov. 10, there will be 18 contests on SNY in the network’s 11th season associated with the program. The SNY broadcasts will feature former Husky Meghan Culmo as an analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Allen Bestwick and live game reporter Maria Marino.

UConn will have plenty of national exposure this year as well. Three games will air on Fox, two will be broadcast on ABC and two are designated for the main ESPN channel. Additionally, two contests will air on Fox Sports 1 and two will be on CBS Sports Network.

Whether you’re tuning in locally or from across the country, from a traditional cable provider, through a streaming service or a mobile device, here’s everything you need to know about how and where to watch games this season.

How to watch SNY games: In-market (Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania)

You can access all UConn games on your TV if your provider carries SNY. The Connecticut providers include Altice/Optimum, Charter Spectrum, Cox, Comcast/Xfinity and DirecTV.

You can also watch SNY on DirecTV Stream, FuboTV, Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV, if you subscribe to those streaming services instead of traditional cable.

If you’re subscribed to SNY subscribers you can also access UConn games and pregame and postgame coverage at SNY.tv and through the NBC Sports App. Simply use your log-in credentials for your cable provider or streaming service to do so.

How to watch SNY games: Out-of-market

Want to watch UConn games, but you’re not in market? If Fox is part of your TV package, you’re all set. You can watch games through the Fox Sports app or online by signing in at https://www.foxsports.com/ with your cable provider or streaming service log-in credentials, at no additional cost.

Some DirectTV, Verizon FiOS, Comcast Cable and AT&T U-Verse customers may be able to access SNY nationally. Check with your cable provider to see if you fall under one of those special zip codes.
