What to Watch Wednesday: New Christmas movies on Lifetime and OWN

Carolin Kebekus: The Last Christmas Special (Netflix) - In Netflix Germany’s first Christmas themed stand up special, one of the biggest comedians in the country, Carolin Kebekus, mixes festive nostalgia and social commentary with her signature edgy wit to poke fun and challenge “the most wonderful time of the year.”

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure (8 p.m., ABC) - When the kingdom of Arendelle empties out for the holiday season, Anna and Elsa realize that they have no family traditions of their own. So Olaf sets out on a merry mission to bring home the very best traditions and save Christmas.

Christmas With a Crown (8 p.m., Lifetime) - In this new Lifetime movie, a successful woman returns to her hometown to revive her family’s Christmas festival and meets a dashing stranger who’s on a quest to find the holidays’ true spirit.

Christmas Around the World (8 p.m., The CW) - A look at the history of how Christmas is celebrated around the world, with special Christmas performances. Dean Cain and Laura McKenzie host, Elizabeth Stanton and Montel Williams co-host.

A Sisterly Christmas (8 p.m., OWN) - Kristina and Vicky’s aunt gifts them a stay at a luxury resort for Christmas in hopes of bringing them closer together. The sisters — Deborah Joy Winans and Lisa Michelle Cornelius — reluctantly accept her gift, and chaos ensues as they compete in the resort’s charity Christmas competition.

CMT’s A Tennessee Kind of Christmas (9 p.m., CMT) - Country music artists share holiday traditions, personal memories and perform their favorite Christmas songs.
