Watch Whitney cover 'Take Me Home, Country Roads' for Colbert on the anniversary of John Denver's death

If you need a reason to listen to a new cover of John Denver's enduring classic "Take Me Home, Country Roads," Monday was the 23rd anniversary of the day Denver died in a plane crash in the Pacific Ocean on Oct. 12, 1997. That's why the band Whitney performed the song for Stephen Colbert's Late Show. But it's also just a really great song for listening to at any time, and Whitney does a good job with it.
