How to watch World Baseball Classic championship: Louisville's Will Smith, USA, faces Japan

The United States will play in the World Baseball Classic Championship Game on Tuesday against Japan, which beat Mexico on Monday night in a semifinal, 6-5.

Team USA, including Louisville native and current Los Angeles Dodger Will Smith, beat Cuba 14-2 Sunday night in the other semifinal to advance to the title game.

The U.S. is seeking to repeat as World Baseball Classic champions.

Japan is the only team to have won consecutive World Baseball Classic championships (2006, 2009).
