St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina is in the lineup for the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds for Thursday's game against the Norfolk Tides. He is scheduled to play both Thursday's and Friday's Redbirds games.

Both Thursday's and Friday's games are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. CT.

Memphis enters Thursday's game at 52-43 overall. Norfolk, the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, comes into Thursday at 45-50 overall.

Molina has been on the injured list since June 17 with right knee inflammation. He has said that he plans to retire after the current MLB season. Molina made his MLB debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004, and the Cardinals drafted him in the 2000 MLB Draft.
