Water Flows Down Tokyo Street From Pipe Broken During Earthquake
Water from a burst pipe flowed down streets in the Meguro City ward of Tokyo, Japan, in the early morning hours of October 8, following a 5.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the neighboring Chiba Prefecture.
Local reports said around 20 people were injured by the earthquake, which was registered three kilometers south-southwest of Chiba.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said there was no threat of tsunami.
Video filmed by Instagram user and local resident @indian_atomo shows water rushing down a road off Kannana-Dori Avenue as police tend to the scene.
