Water Gushes Down Monterrey Street as Tropical Depression Hanna Hits Mexico

Streets in Monterrey resembled rivers on July 26 as Tropical Depression Hanna drenched Mexico’s northeast.

This footage, shot by local man Edgar Galindo Parra, shows water gushing down the street outside his home as rain falls. He told Storyful “a nearby stream overflow[ed] causing flooding in the surrounding houses,” adding that this was the third time he had experienced such flooding.

Several deaths and disappearances were reported locally in the wake of the storm.
