Water main break closes Greece Athena schools
The Greece Central School District canceled classes for some of the district's middle and high school students due to a water main break Thursday morning.
According to a statement from the district, the water main break only impacts Greece Athena Middle School and Greece Athena High School, both located on the same campus on Long Pond Road in Greece. The water main break is located on the schools campus.
All of the other schools within the district will remain open as scheduled. Roughly 10,775 students attend school in the district.
