Traffic impacted on busy street in Oakwood following water main break

Road crews had to make repairs Saturday following a water main break in Oakwood.

The water main break took place on Far Hills Avenue (State Route 48) between Beverly Place and Spirea Drive, an Oakwood Department of Public Safety spokesperson said.

The break was reported to be a significant one.

Images from the scene show the left lanes remain blocked in both directions but traffic is moving in the right lane.

No boil advisory has been issued for the City of Oakwood at this time, according to the spokesperson.
