The Water’n Hole in Augusta made Saturday, June 18th, a memorable day for the town, marking the first anniversary under the ownership of Mary and Ronnie Hackney.

Live music on the outdoor deck was a loud and festive addition to the celebration, with the music being provided by the Hearsay band. They offered a blend of musical types, with country music being the dominant theme of the day.

On the south side of the bar, the corn hole court was kept busy with numerous teams participating in the event. Even the bar’s new operations manager, Kraig Haukapp, was half of a team in the event.

That event also drew sponsorships, including Kane Flooring, Likes Construction, 217 Cornhole, Fire Cornhole, and Titan Bags. They proved to be an added draw for the event.

First place for the event went to Doug Aschman and Hank Delonjay. Second place went to Kollen Hughes and JonTae Anderson. Buddha Hawkins and his partner, popularly known as Salt & Pepper, rounded out the top three winners.

Although the weather proved to be hot for the event, the turn out for the event was solid. Haukapp termed the event a success.
