Water shooting at least 50 feet in the air after water main break in Chamblee
A large water main break is continuing to cause delays in the city of Chamblee.

The main burst Thursday afternoon on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, near Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

Channel 2 Action News was at the scene, where water was shooting upwards of 50 feet in the air.

Currently, the right lane is blocked. Officials are asking drivers to detour to Peachtree Road.
It’s unclear what caused the water main break or if neighboring businesses and homes have been affected. Channel 2 has reached out to officials for more details.
