Waterbury man critically wounded in Thanksgiving shooting

A Waterbury man was critically wounded in a shooting on Thanksgiving, police said.

Police responded to reports of a person shot at 150 Manhan St. at about 3:25 p.m. and found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Waterbury Police Department.

The man was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital with critical injuries but was in stable condition, police said.

Investigators found evidence of a shooting in the area of 88 MacArthur Drive and believe the man was shot there and then went to Manhan Street, police said.
