Waterfront hotel in Massachusetts named best in United States
Three hotels in New England, including a gem in Massachusetts, have landed on a list of the 10 best waterfront hotels in the United States.
The Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod was named the best waterfront hotel in the country, according USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice for 2022.
“This classic New England destination has welcomed guests to Cape Cod since 1914. With 28 landscaped acres, poolside and beachfront cabanas and lounges, cottages, and five dining areas, there’s a lot to enjoy,” USA Today said of the hotel.
Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle, New Hampshire, was named the second best waterfront hotel. The news outlet noted that this hotel is the “last of New Hampshire’s Gilded Age hotels on the seacoast.”
The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, ranked fourth on the list.
“Ocean House offers an iconic New England seaside experience, complete with a full-service spa, Forbes Five Star-rated restaurant, a private beach with butler service,” USA Today said in its ranking.
