Watertown Mayor Ried Holien and City Manager Amanda Mack will be hosting their first news conference Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

The conference will be streamed on Facebook Live and can be attended through the city hall Facebook page.

"This is part of a larger effort to increase Watertown's presence, not only on social media, but by communicating with the people," Holien said in an announcement aired on Facebook.

The 30-minute monthly conferences will give citizens an opportunity to ask questions about all things Watertown -- projects both big and small.

Questions are encouraged to be submitted prior to the conference by e-mail to Amanda Mack at amack@watertownsd.us. Inquiries can be asked by using the Facebook Live chat option during the stream.
