Watertown's dual win over Milbank among Thursday wrestling highlights

Watertown won 12 of 14 matches and rolled to a 70-9 high school wrestling dual victory over Milbank on Thursday night in the Civic Arena.

The Arrows, now 6-2 in duals on the season, received pins from Leo Stroup, Weston Everson, Braden Lee, Tucker Urdahl, Jackson Maag, Brock Eitreim, Matthew Peters and Micah Hach and technical falls from Gage Lohr and Derek Hanson. Sloan Johannsen and Ian Johnson each won by forfeit.

The Bulldogs (1-9) got a pin from Brayden Christensen at 145 and a decision from Barrett Schneck at 170.

Watertown is scheduled to visit Brookings in makeup Eastern South Dakota Conference dual on Friday before competing Saturday in the Sioux City (Iowa) Bishop Heelan tournament.

Milbank is slated to participate in the River City Rumble at Chamberlain on Saturday.

Redfield 52, Webster Area 21

REDFIELD — Redfield won nine of 13 individual matches, including four by forfeit, to down Webster Area in a Northeast Conference Dual.

Maddon Odland (106 pounds), Collin Dean (145), Dylan Murray (170) and Camden Murray (182) each won by fall for the Pheasants, now 7-2 in duals. Connor Zens (113) won by a major decision and Payton Moore (126), Masomn Whitley (160), Tanner Pickrel (195) and Grady Fey (285) each won by forfeit.

Haeden Jorgenson (132) and Trace Shoemaker (138) won by fall for Webster Area (0-1 in duals). Gavon Larson added a decision at 120. Blaise McGregor won by forfeit at 152.

Mobridge-Pollock Quad

MOBRIDGE — Faulkton Area went 2-1 and Mobridge-Pollock 0-3 in a high school wrestling quadrangular on Thursday.

Faulkton Area beat Mobridge-Pollock 36-24 and Sully Buttes 53-12 and lost on a tiebreaker to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock/Strasburg 36-36. Mobridge-Pollock also lost to Linton-HMB-Strasburg 45-24 and Sully Buttes 36-30.

Sean Roseland (106 pounds), Kamryn Rhodes (113-120), Garrett Cramer (145-152) and Lincoln Dikoff (195) each went 3-0 for Faulkton Area.

Wyatt Wientjes (132) and Mark Sandquist (145) won three matches apiece for Mobridge-Pollock.

Miller/Highmore-Harrold Triangular

HIGHMORE — Miller/Highmore-Harrold went 2-0, Potter County 1-1 and Sunshine Bible 0-2 in a high school wrestling triangular on Thursday.

MHH topped Potter County 53-30 and Sunshine Bible 47-6. Potter County topped SBA 46-18 in the other dual.

Tanner Frickson (138), Ayden Forgey (145) and Damion Johnson-Horn (152) each went 2-0 for Potter County and Troy Paul (170) did the same for Sunshine Bible.
