Watson Clinic in Lakeland selects dermatologist William Roth as managing partner

Dr. William J. Roth has been elected as managing partner of Watson Clinic in Lakeland.

Roth, a board-certified dermatologist, has worked for Watson Clinic since 1994, the clinic said in a news release.

As managing partner, Roth supervises the management and execution of business strategy, assists in the creation and implementation of initiatives that ensure exceptional patient care and serves as a public spokesman, the release said. He continues to provide dermatology care at his two Lakeland offices.

Roth received his medical degree and doctorate from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he also completed his residency and served as chief resident of dermatology. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Cornell Medical Center, New York Hospital, the release said.

“I’m honored to be chosen for this esteemed leadership position,” Roth said in the release. “For more than eight decades, Watson Clinic has been a trusted mainstay in our community. I look forward to collaborating with the entire Watson Clinic team – from the Board of Directors and administrators to our physicians and support staff – to ensure that our legacy thrives for many years to come.”
