Waves of Ice Hit Shoreline on Frozen Lake Superior
Waves of ice clashed against the shoreline of Lake Superior in Ashland, Wisconsin, on December 16.
Photographer Cheryl Koval, who lives on the shore of Lake Superior, captured the sight, sharing a number of videos to YouTube on that date.
“This is so cool,” she wrote in the caption to one video, with the icy conditions creating “awesome icy waves” as well as “pancake ice” on the waters.
