Some Wawa stores in Bensalem, Philadelphia change hours

If you're headed out for a late night snack at Wawa, call before going.

A few of the stores in Philadelphia and at least one in Bucks County are closing at 11 p.m. every night. While the stores are typically open 24 hours, they are closing for the safety of customers and staff after a string of robberies at the locations in Northeast Philadelphia.

In Bucks County, the one at 1549 Bristol Pike will close from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. every day until further notice.

Many of the stores in Northeast Philadelphia will operate under the same hours. There is no word on if or when the stores will go back to being open 24 hours.
