A “vivid and daring immersive experience” about Leonardo da Vinci’s life and works is now on show in Old Town Scottsdale.

Leonardo: The Universal Man is projecting floor-to-ceiling “animated and kaleidoscopic” interpretations of his creations at Lighthouse Artspace Phoenix, at Fifth Avenue and Scottsdale Road. Anyone who’s been to an experiential show like Immersive Van Gogh or Frida Kahlo, An Immersive Biography will be familiar with the Instagrammable event’s concept.

The all-ages exhibition is put on by the same people who created the original Immersive Van Gogh exhibit at the same venue. It’s also running concurrent with Immersive Monet & The Impressionists, and they run on alternate days.

Here’s everything you need to know about the da Vinci-themed event’s run in the Valley.

What to expect at the Leonardo: The Universal Man

Leonardo: The Universal Man comprises five displays that “explore the areas where da Vinci made his greatest impact,” according to a press release. The multi-gallery exhibition will include the Renaissance man’s drawings, sketches and journal entries and feature works such as the "Mona Lisa," "The Last Supper" and the "Vitruvian Man."

Guests’ journey through the space will start with an introduction to Leonardo da Vinci’s life, then move into a multisensory show with music synced to projections “that present a current interpretation of his drawings and creations.”

Be aware that the show involves bright lights and music that can be loud for some. Earplugs are available by request, and people who experience motion sickness or vertigo can come and go as necessary, according to the website.

Tickets are available through May; future dates in June and July will likely be added, according to a representative.

How much Leonardo: The Universal Man tickets cost
