Wayback Burgers signs lease on third restaurant location in Utah

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC4) — Wayback Burgers is expanding in Utah, opening the state’s third location in Pleasant Grove.

Wayback Burgers, which boasts being “one of the nation’s fastest-growing burger franchises,” announced a lease signing for its third Utah restaurant in Pleasant Grove near 800 S North County Boulevard. The restaurant is set to open this spring.

The East Coast-based burger joint first established itself within the state in St. George, followed by the recent addition of a Wayback Burgers franchise in West Jordan last summer.

The most recent franchise will be operated by husband-wife duo, Scott and Natalie Beckstead.

Scott Beckstead said when choosing what franchise to join “Wayback Burgers was an obvious choice.” He said the variety of quality food along with the “overwhelming support” from the Wayback Burgers family were factors in their decision to join.

“We look forward to sharing delicious menu items, especially our personal favorites, the Big Easy and the Cajun tater tots, along with the full Wayback Burgers dining experience to the Pleasant Grove community soon,” Scott Beckstead said.

The burger joint offers classic made-to-order burgers as well as specials such as the “Cheeeesy” burger, which comes with four slices of melted cheese and two beef patties.

For those looking for something other than a cheeseburger, the joint also offers veggie burgers, chicken sandwiches and tenders, and salads.

The menu also includes hand-dipped milkshakes using Blue Bunny ice cream and milk.
