Hey, anyone know a kid who needs to let off some steam? Then we’ve got some news that will make you (and them) jump for joy. Right now, one of Wayfair’s most popular trampolines is just $170—a cool 26 percent off the original price of $230.

This is the perfect model for trampoline newbies, too—it’s safe, portable and a cinch to put together. Allow us to break it down for you.

For starters, the Propel Trampoline comes with a built-in, heavy-duty safety enclosure around the entire perimeter. It can hold a maximum weight of 150 pounds and has a sturdy, galvanized steel frame. There is also a reinforced child-resistant safety entrance, so little kids can’t sneak on without supervision.

With a diameter of just seven feet, it’s compact enough to fit in smaller backyards. When it’s not in use, it can easily be stored in a shed. It’s also only 75 pounds, which might still seem hefty, but compared to similar models that weigh upwards of a hundred pounds, is still fairly lightweight. Several shoppers even noted they will keep it in her basement in the winter — it’s that portable.

Assembly is pretty standard — in fact, many shoppers said they were able to do it themselves within an hour. In a shocking twist, many shoppers even praised how straightforward the directions included were. If that’s not novel praise, we’re not sure what is.

Because it’s so compact, the Propel Trampoline is the perfect size for smaller kids and the ideal size for a solo jumper. It even has a basketball hoop, so the kids in your life can practice their slam dunks and free throws.

“My kids love it,” one Oregon-based parent shared. “They’re seven and nine and jump all day. It’s a great size, fits perfectly in our small backyard and adds so much fun. Plus the basketball hoop is an awesome addition. It’s not big enough to do any flips or big tricks but I don’t want my kids doing that anyway!”

It’s also the perfect antidote for hyperactive kids, according to one grandparent:

“This was a second birthday present for our grandson who loves to bounce on beds,” she shared. “Now he can bounce on his very own trampoline without the worry of falling off a bed!”
