WAYLAND, MA — The last of the three businesses that closed recently in Wayland due to possible new coronavirus exposures has reopened. Liberty Pizza was reopened on Wednesday after a deep cleaning.

The Main Street pizza shop was closed on March 19 after town officials discovered that an employee may have had contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. The Starbucks also closed that day.

"All employees and family members who had close contact with the COVID-19 positive person are in self-quarantine and will not be working," the town said in a statement. "The building was deep cleaned and all perishable food products were disposed of prior to reopening."

On, the CVS along Main Street closed after an employee tested positive. That store and the Starbucks, which closed the same day as Liberty Pizza, were open by Monday.
