Wayne Memorial Hospital adjusts outpatient services

Apr. 12—Wayne Memorial Hospital plans to relocate its Carbondale outpatient services from Salem Avenue to 150 Brooklyn St. next month.

The hospital's outpatient sites in Forest City and Waymart are closing as part of the changes. Patients seeking lab or X-ray services will be sent to the new Carbondale site, which will also offer electrocardiogram studies and mobile mammography, or Wayne Memorial in Honesdale, starting at noon on May 11.

The phone number and hours for Carbondale's outpatient services will remain the same when the Salem Avenue office closes May 11 and operations resume on Brooklyn Street several days later. Lab services will start May 15 and radiology services will begin May 17.

The physician practices in Forest City and Waymart are not closing.

Wayne Memorial's women's health offices may be temporarily relocated to Forest City before moving to Brooklyn Street.
