Waynedale fall Homecoming queen will be named Friday at game against Smithville

Waynedale High School Homecoming queen candidates are seniors Natalie Hilty, Addesa Miller and Audrey Rowe. The queen will be announced at the fall homecoming game Friday against Smithville.

Hilty, daughter of Leroy and Rachel Hilty, will be escorted by her father and senior football player Jeremy Reber, son of Doug and Valerie Reber. She is a three-year letter winner as well as a team captain in soccer. She is vice president of Student Council and a member of National Honor Society. She attends Grace Youth and is a volunteer in the children's program. If she attends college, she wishes to study sign language to become an interpreter.

Miller, daughter of Craig and Rachel Miller, will be escorted by her father and senior football player Jake Coblentz, son of Ron and Lori Coblentz. She participates in volleyball and cheer in the fall. During the winter she plays basketball. She is a member of the National Honor Society and works with the Future Teachers of America program. Next year she will attend Georgetown College in Kentucky, where she is committed to play basketball and plans to become a physician assistant.

Rowe, daughter of Mike and Stacy Rowe, will be escorted by her father and senior football player Jaden Zuercher, son of Brian and Stacie Zuercher. She is a four-year varsity letter winner in volleyball and serves as a team captain this year. She is a varsity football and basketball cheerleader. She has participated in five years of junior Olympic volleyball. She is a member of Student Council and is a member at Fredericksburg Presbyterian Church. After high school, she plans on attending college to study occupational therapy.

The junior attendant is Catarina Webb, daughter of Brian Webb and Ruth Graham, and will be escorted by junior football player Ethan Garrod, son of Barry and Gail Garrod.

The sophomore attendant is Carleigh Lynch, daughter of Jamie and Shay Lynch, and will be escorted by sophomore football player Isaiah Miller, son of Brian and Amy Miller.

The freshman attendant is Caitlyn Stasko, daughter of Lindsey Chupp, and will be escorted by freshman football player Kamden Alberson, son of Kyle and Kara Alberson.

Past Queen Libby Hostetler will crown this year’s queen. She is the daughter of Ryan and Steph Hostetler and will be escorted by senior football player Tate Venables, son of Marcus Venables and Thresa Venables.
