Veterans Plaza of Northern Colorado events

At south entrance of Spring Canyon Community Park, 2626 W. Horsetooth Road, Fort Collins

Field of Honor: 500 American flags will fly in formation May 26-29, and visitors can walk among the flags and read the medallions attached to them that honor individuals. It's meant to honor veterans, active military members, first responders, medical workers, community leaders, teachers and personal heroes, according to Andy Groeger, president of the Fort Collins Breakfast Rotary, which sponsors this event. You can also honor a particular person with a medallion by going to www.rotaryfcbreakfast.org.
