JACOB WYCOFF: Hey, everyone. The first full day of spring arrives with phenomenal springlike weather. Our weather continuing into the next few days too. We do have a set up though that the coastline, the Cape, and islands likely seeing a bit cooler. Still sunny for most of us. No issues there. A chance for rain arriving for the second half of the week. Our Observed Highs yesterday were in the mid to upper 50s, low 60s for Boston. And we are well on our way this afternoon back to the mid to low 60s. A lot of sunshine the entire time.

It's going to be one of those bright and beautiful days that you really can just go outside and enjoy. We are starting to see these type of conditions back to back to back. And I think that we're going to end the month on a very mild note. High pressure in place. It's going to remain dominant over the next couple of days. No weather features moving into our neighborhood until we get to about Thursday timeframe. We may add a couple of clouds on Tuesday, a bit of an onshore wind with this storm system to our south. There is going to be our next rainmaker, slowly pushing through the Midwest on its way towards us. That arrives Thursday night and into Friday.

Notice our temperature trend. Our average temperatures are in the middle to upper 40s. We're going to be in the mid 60s, upper 50s. So we are well above average this week into next week. Our chance for rain arrives, a slight chance Thursday morning, but better chance heading into Friday. It's not going to amount to all that much good, quarter tenth of an inch, that sort of time frame, or time scale. So we will see not much when it comes to the rainfall. And it's going to be enough to coat the ground. We do need some rain. We're seeing those abnormally dry conditions setting up across parts of the area.

And with the dry weather, the sunshine, the mild temperatures, wouldn't be surprised if these areas shaded in yellow star to grow a little bit. Not the trend we want to see as we head into spring. We do have still an above average chance for a nice mild conditions heading into the month of April. We're in the mid to low 60s the next few days. Upper 50s for Wednesday with the chance of clouds. Also, some showers Thursday and into Friday. And again, by then, we're going to start to need the rain. So go outside, enjoy that first full day of spring. It is beautiful out.
