WCPO adds former WLWT meteorologist Cameron Hardin, promotes weekday traffic reporter
WCPO 9 (WCPO-TV) is welcoming a new face and promoting a familiar one.
Meteorologist Cameron Hardin will join the 9 First Warning Weather team for "WCPO 9 News at Noon" starting Feb. 23, the station announced Monday. He will also be on “Good Morning Tri-State Weekend” starting Feb. 25. Weather forecaster and traffic reporter Raven Richard will join “Good Morning Tri-State" weekday mornings starting Feb. 20.
Hardin, an American Meteorological Society-certified meteorologist from Bargersville, Indiana, previously worked at News 5 (WLWT-TV). He also worked at News 18 (WLFI-TV) in West Lafayette, Indiana, and was a freelance meteorologist for News 5 Cleveland (WEWS-TV).

"I am super excited to be back on the air in Cincinnati,” Hardin stated in a press release. “Weekend mornings are my favorite, and the fact that I get to start my morning with viewers is going to be so much fun.”
Richard has been a part of the WCPO newsroom since 2019. She previously worked as a traffic reporter a few days a week, but will now transition into that position full time. The Little Rock, Arkansas, native, who worked for KNDU in Kennewick, Washington, and THV11 in Little Rock, will also fill in as a weather forecaster during the week.
“I’m happy to be joining the team and helping get the tri-state up and out the door each morning,” Richard said in a statement.
“Good Morning Tri-State” also added anchor Kristen Skovira last month. The program airs Monday-Friday from 4:30-7 a.m. “Good Morning Tri-State Weekend” airs Saturday and Sunday from 5-7 a.m. and 8-9 a.m.
