Adorned in cleats bearing a shout out to his Pewaukee roots, J.J. Watt recorded a sack in the third quarter Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, brining his season total to 10½ with one game to play in his illustrious NFL career.

Watt, who announced the 2022 season would be his last following a loss to Tampa Bay last weekend, posted a picture on Twitter of his cleats for the Arizona Cardinals' penultimate game of the year in Atlanta, showcasing an old Pewaukee Pirates logo and his high school No. 9.

The Cardinals finish the year at San Francisco in a game that bears some interest for Green Bay Packers fans; if the 49ers win, then they'll be locked into the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and would represent the opponent in the first round of the playoffs should Green Bay beat Detroit at Lambeau Field next Sunday. If the 49ers lose, the Vikings can claim that No. 2 spot with a win over the Bears next weekend.

One of Watt's admirers on social media was younger brother T.J., the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year who proceeded to record a sack of his own on Sunday Night Football when the Pittsburgh Steelers downed the Baltimore Ravens.
