Cincinnati's first accumulating snow of the season will occur this weekend, just before the Bengals' final game of the 2023 season this Sunday.

Snow will spread across the region Friday night, per a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Snow accumulations will likely be less than an inch. Rain and snow will taper off across the region by Saturday afternoon.

Untreated roads and elevated surfaces, such as bridges and overpasses, may develop some slick spots before temperatures warm to above freezing by mid to late morning.

After a cold start this morning, highs will range from the mid-30s north to the lower 40s south Friday and Saturday.

On Saturday night, widespread light rain and snow will return before moving east on Sunday. Any additional snow accumulations will also be less than an inch.

Widespread rain is in the forecast for Monday evening through Tuesday. Temperatures will be near to above normal, with highs around 40 Sunday and Monday, rising to the mid 40s to low 50s Tuesday.

Winds may gust will be around 40 mph Tuesday into Wednesday.

The NWS predicts that snow accumulations will mainly be less than an inch.

According to the NWS hourly weather forecast, snow is expected to start at midnight Saturday and last through noon. Rain will begin at 9 a.m. and last through noon p.m. Rain will return between 7 p.m. on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The highest probability of snow will be between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
