Update: Weather delays Arkansas vs. Oregon softball game in NCAA Fayetteville Regional

Update: The Arkansas vs. Oregon softball game is scheduled to resume at 3:53 p.m. CT.

The Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Oregon Ducks softball game was halted in the bottom of the first inning on Saturday due to a lightning and rain delay.

The weather delay started at about 1:25 p.m. CT.

Arkansas and Oregon were scoreless when the weather delay started.

Arkansas had runners on first and second base with two outs and Hannah Gammill at the plate. Makenna Kliethermes was pitching for the Oregon Ducks.

Arkansas entered the matchup 45-9 overall. Most recently, Arkansas defeated Princeton 11-0 in five innings on Friday in the NCAA Tournament first round.

Oregon came into the contest 32-17 overall. On Friday, Oregon beat Wichita State 10-2 in five innings in the NCAA Tournament first round.

The winner advances to the NCAA Tournament Fayetteville Regional final at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday. The loser faces the winner of Wichita State vs. Princeton at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday.
