After a rainy Saturday, the weather for the Flying Pig marathon and Paycor half marathon this Sunday will start off wet but move to relatively clear, dry and warm by mid- to late morning.

According to forecasts from the National Weather Service, most of Sunday is currently expected to be partly sunny with a high near 77 during the day, and partly cloudy with a low around 53 at night.

There is a high chance of rain to begin the marathon and half marathon. An hourly forecast for Sunday shows the precipitation potential at 74% from 3-7 a.m. The race will kick off at 6:30 a.m.

After 7 a.m., the precipitation potential drops to 24% and continually decreases for the rest of the day.

The relative humidity will also be pretty high early in the morning, estimated to be between 89% and 87% from 6-7 a.m.

The days before and after Sunday could be much wetter. Each day from Thursday through Saturday, chances of showers and thunderstorms during the day and overnight increase. Monday afternoon, rain could continue again.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 63. A chance of sprinkles before 9 a.m., then a slight chance of showers after 3 p.m. Tonight, mostly cloudy with a low around 47 and a slight chance of showers.

Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. A slight chance of showers before 10 a.m. Tonight, a low around 52 and showers, mainly after 3 a.m.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 9 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 a.m. Saturday night, mostly cloudy with a low around 61. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4 a.m.

Sunday (Flying Pig marathon and Paycor half marathon): Partly sunny, with a high near 77. Showers likely before noon, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between noon and 2 p.m. Sunday night, mostly clear with a low around 52.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 76.

Tuesday: A high near 78. Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74.
