Here’s what weather NC may face during summer 2023, new NOAA forecast shows

Brace yourself because it will be a scorching summer in North Carolina.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released its weather outlook for June, July and August, shedding light on what the summer temperatures will look like for states across the country.

For most, it’ll be pretty warm.

These are the outlook maps for the summer that show just how hot and rainy it could get in the U.S.

According to NOAA, North Carolina could get above-normal temperatures over the next three months and potentially a wetter-than-normal summer.

This aligns with the Farmer’s Almanac forecast, which said temperatures across the country will hit high into the 90s, even topping 100 degrees in our region, The Charlotte Observer previously reported.

Charlotte temperatures haven’t reached 90 degrees just yet, but forecasts show the city will likely reach the mid to upper 80s at the beginning of June.
