Unless you’re WWE Superstar Shotzi.

In my video interview with Shotzi, she discusses the WWE Friday Night SmackDown on Fox show on Jan. 26 at the Kaseya Center in Miami as well as the WWE Royal Rumble, which is the following night at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg/Tampa.

During the holidays, Shotzi was the talk of the town (and WWE Universe), going viral on social media as she and her boyfriend Jesus Alfaro eloped, getting married on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, before a WWE show there. They made their nuptials public by utilizing social media via her Instagram account and WWE’s massive social media platforms.

BTW, Alfaro designs her cool jackets and is a huge Houston Astros fan.

After saying “I Do,” Shotzi raced to the MGM Grand Garden Arena. She made it in time (with her new husband ringside) for that WWE show later that night.

In the ring, Shotzi did it in style.

She wrestled in her wedding dress. Not sure if she received any tips from WWE superstar Chelsea Green, who wrestled in a wedding dress in another pro wrestling life, but she and Bianca Belair teamed to defeat WWE Champ Iyo Sky and Bayley of Damage CTRL.

So many fans liked, commented, shared the rock-wedding-n-wrestling connection. Many mainstream websites (digital media and other) shared their story, too.

To cap off the fun night, singing karaoke with her new husband on the Vegas Strip.

What a day. What a night.

A Shot for Shotzi

An attention grabber with a unique look (hair and ring gear), what will she be donning in color and style for the SmackDown Miami show and Royal Rumble? Retro Miami Vice? Dark, eerie ghost town vibes?

Hopefully, the mini-tank will be part of any eclectic entrance.

Of course Shotzi is an advocate of The Dungeon, which is Natalya and TJ Wilson’s pro wrestling training center in Central Florida.

Shotzi has learned so much from them and others. In her time in NXT, she won NXT tag team titles with Ember Moon. On the main roster, she wrestled for the WWE title against Ronda Rousey and also earned a title shot against Charlotte Flair.

Shotzi teamed with Flair, Belair and Becky Lynch to defeat Damage CTRL (Bayley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane) in a WarGames match at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Shotzi is into sci-fi and horro and such. In September 2023, she began hosting a ghost hunting show - “Chamber of Horrors” - alongside WWE’s Scarlett on WWE’s YouTube channel.

She can howl at the moon with the best of ‘em, hosting NXT Halloween Havocs.

How apropos. In 2020, Shotzi made her main roster type debut, competing in the Royal Rumble at No.26. She hopes No.1 is her number for the 2024 version, and she takes it all the way to the end -- from start to finish.
