Wednesday shooting update: Victim named, another person of interest sought

Bartlesville Police are seeking Colton Patch Tallchief as a person of interest in connection with the shooting death of 32-year-old Codie Edward King at the Brookhaven Apartments on Wednesday.

Early Wednesday morning, police said they responded to a shooting that took place on the second floor of the Brookhaven Apartments, where they found King deceased in an apartment.

A witness claimed a white van with plastic on the windows was seen leaving the area. Police located the vehicle a few blocks southwest of the apartment complex.

Bartlesville Police originally sought Joshua Brown aka “Breezy” and Amber King in connection with the shooting.
