Plant-based meal delivery service Daily Harvest issued a public recall of its French Lentil and Leek Crumbles product on June 22 after dozens of customers reported that they fell ill after consuming it, The Wall Street Journal reports. In some instances, consumers said their doctors were unable to determine why their patients were experiencing liver damage, abdominal pain, fevers and more. Daily Harvest said in a blog post that all pathogen and toxicology results have come back negative so far but that it will continue to conduct testing.
