Here are Wednesday's high school game results, and Thursday's schedule

GIRLS SOCCER

Moses Brown 2, West Warwick 1: Keilly Quezada and Camila Leiva each scored a goal helping the Quakers escape with a win over the Wizards. Isabella Robinson had the only goal for West Warwick. Madison Rogers and Paige Durant combined for 9 saves in the win and Emily Santerre recorded 14 saves for WW.

North Providence 4, North Smithfield 1: A goal each Catherine Nicolo, Meghan Witt, Olivia DePalma and Yassin Joof and Molly Witt's 9 saves in net would be the recipe for the Cougars' win over the Lady Northmen in Division II. Alyson Smith scored the only goal for NS and goalie Samantha Austin did her best to keep it close with 20 saves.

Coventry 1, Scituate 0

FIELD HOCKEY

East Greenwich 6, Lincoln 1: Alex Mega scored 4 goals and Grace Burbridge added two more as the 14-1 Avengers rolled to a win in Division I. Also contributing to the victory were Grace Casey and Maeve Kiernan with 2 assists each and Linnea Cervenka and Catherine Neville added 1 helper apiece. Ella Brown had the only tally for the Lions and Severine Michel had a strong game in net with 20 stops.   

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

East Providence 3, Burrillville 0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-16): Kate Burkhardt totaled 9 kills and 5 aces and Keira Mullen had 6 kills and 2 aces in the Townies win over the Broncos.

South Kingstown 3, West Warwick 1 (25-15, 25-18, 22-25, 25-10): Domination at the net was the key to the Rebels victory over the Wizards. Ava Brock delivered 15 kills, 4 aces and 2 blocks, Natalia McNeal had 11 kills and 10 aces and Gaia Coppelli recorded 7 aces, 2 kills and a slew of assists for SK. Kayla Goldstein (8 kills, 9 digs, 3 aces) and Brea Alves (18 assists, 3 kills, 2 aces) led the way WW.

Barrington 3, EWG 1 (12-25, 25-23, 25-16, 251-2): JV - B, 2-1.

Narragansett 3, Juanita Sanchez 0 (25-14, 25-8, 25-16): Solid efforts from Clare Oberheu  (8 aces, 4 kills) Samara Sahagian (4 blocks, 2 kills and 3 aces) and Kyle Bennett (8 digs) would pave the way for the Mariners win over over the Cavaliers.

Portsmouth 3, North Kingstown 0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-21): Morgan Casey's 10 kills, 3 blocks, 6 digs and 1 ace, led the way for the Patriots 9th win in Division I-A this season.

Middletown 3, Westerly 1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-23, 25-15): Gwen Delaney (12 kills, and 5 digs) and Skylar Schuster (9 kills, 2 aces) helped the Islanders defeat the Bulldogs. Riley Peloquin had 7 kills, 1 ace, 3 digs and 1 assist in the loss..

Chariho 3, North Smithfield 0 (25-8, 25-15, 25-9): Thanks to the spirited play of Erin O'Leary (7 kills, 7 aces) and Lexi Cole (24 assists, 3 aces and 9 digs), the Chargers kept their undefeated record (14-0) intact. Carley Samek had five kills for the Lady Northmen.
