BOYS SOCCER

BVP 7, T2/PC/SP 1: Ethan Sou and Alejandro Zuluaga each had two goals and an assist and William Salazar, Jeff Gomez and David Arias also found the back of the net in BVP's victory in Division IV. Anthonie Hernandez had the lone goal for T2/PC/SP.

North Smithfield 1, Chariho 0: Josh Neves scored with 8:52 left in the second half, assisted by Zach Bienkiewicz, to score the game's only goal. Jack McCallig had 4 saves for Chariho and Samuel Beauchemin had 5 saves for the Northmen in the Division II contest.

GIRLS SOCCER

BVP 4, T2/PC/SP 0: Lianne Aguilar, Averie Walton, Alison Santiago and Mackenzie Pawson each scored goals in BVP's 4-0 shutout of T2/PC/SP.

Pilgrim 3, Cumberland 2: Lorelai Leddy's goal proved the game-winner to help the Patriots edge the Clippers in Division I. Pilgrim's Haylee Marcotte and Amaya Coffie also found the back of the net, with Katie Ignagni assisting on two scores. Down 0-3 at the break, Emma Kucal and Nicole Calle scored for Cumberland in the second frame to tighten the match. The Patriots' Jenna Madden had 8 saves in net while Catalina Gomez-Velez recorded 7 for Cumberland.

Central 2, Central Falls 1: Marissa Johnson and Jessica Gutierrez each scored a goal in the Knights' victory in Division IV. Gutierrez's tally snapped a 1-1 tie 15 minutes into the second half and that would be the game-winner as Central improved to 4-2. Margeory Giron-Reyes had five saves in the victory. Carolina Velasquez had the lone score for the Warriors and teammate Isabella Aqudelo had 12 saves in the loss.

Mt. Hope 2, Cranston West 1: Following a scoreless first half, Molly Fitzgerald scored to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. The Huskies would answer later in the half as Hannah Rezendes, with an assist by Lilliana Redman, evened the score. And with just just three minutes left in the contest, Abby Razzino made good on a penalty kick and Mt. Hope had its win. Goalies Emily Moran had 8 saves in the victory and Oceanna Orlandi had 9 saves for CW.   

East Greenwich 1, Barrington 0: Lana Diiuro scored midway through the second half, assisted by Riley Gopalakrishnan, to lift the Avengers to a 1-0 Division I win over the Eagles. Barrington goalie Helena DeFanti was solid in net, making 9 saves in the loss, while EG's Elizabeth Johnson had 5 saves. The win lifts EG to a 3-2-1 record, while the Eagles fall to 0-4-2.

North Kingstown 3, La Salle 1: Katherine Martone's goal on a free kick with 14:30 left in the first half proved to be the winner as the Skippers topped the Rams in Division I. Ellie Bishop scored twice for NK and Katherine Van Gorden pitched in with two assists. Grace Martone scored La Salle's lone goal. Netminder Sydney Allen had 8 saves for NK and her counterpart, Kennedy Smith, had 6 saves for La Salle.

Rogers 8, Tolman 0: Fallon Bagley scored 3 goals and Elli Margolis added 2 more as Rogers shut out the Tigers.

GIRLS TENNIS

Portsmouth 5, MSC 2: The Patriots won all four singles matches, including the deciding point at No. 4 when Maryn Olinger took out her opponent in straight sets, 7-6 (7), 6-3.

Lincoln 5, Pilgrim 2: It took the No. 2 doubles team of Malyneat Mon and Holly Pickering three sets, 6-2, 6-7 (3-7), 6-4, to win their match, which helped the Lions seal the win.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Mount Pleasant 3, Shea 0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-22): The play of Nancy Contreras, who recorded 12 kills, led the way for the Kilties' victory. JV — MP, 2-1.

La Salle 3, Classical 0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-17): Somadina Amiecina had 7 kills and Emily Bettencourt had 8 digs to help the Rams blank the Purple. Classical's Paula Pesoa had 18 assists and 3 kills and Taliyah Perreira had 7 kills in the loss. The Rams are now 5-1 in the State Championship Division, while Classical falls to 2-3. JV — LaSalle 2-0

Portsmouth 3, East Greenwich 1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-24, 25-16): Portsmouth's Hailee Labonte had 6 aces, 8 kills and 14 digs and Morgan Casey had 12 kills and 2 blocks in the win. For East Greenwich, Melis Kocak had 21 kills, 2 blocks and 12 digs in the loss.

EWG 3, Pilgrim 1 (21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 26-24): JV — EWG, 2-0.
