Wednesday's HS roundup: Allard, Barone lead Exeter golf in D1 match

MANCHESTER - Connor Allard and Christian Barone led a quartet of players who shot a round in the 30s as the Exeter High School golf team rolled to a four-team Division I win at Manchester Country Club on Wednesday.

Allard and Barone each shot a medalist round of 35, leading Exeter to a team score of 186. Bedford placed second with a 199, and Nashua South (228) and Merrimack (268) placed third and fourth, respectively.

Andrew Degan shot a 36 for the Blue Hawks, while Jascha Johnston had a 39.Luke Campbell and Bryce McGuinness both shot a 41.

GOLF

Clippers place second in four-team match

PEMBROKE - Jake Carlisle had a 1-over par 37 to lead Portsmouth in a four-team Division II match at Pembroke Pines Country Club.

Bow won with a team score of 192, while Portsmouth (205), Pembroke Academy (212) and Alvirne (212) placed second through fourth, respectively.

Jackson Barnes shot a 39 for Portsmouth, while Shea Harrison, Eli Poteet, Briggs Williams and Turner Leduc all had a 43.

HOPKINTON - Lacey Clark's four goals and two by Kadence Law led the Saints to this Division III win.

Kenzie Roy, Emma Massicotte and Abbie Gaynor all scored for St. Thomas.

NASHUA - Dani Caron had three goals, and Garen Steiner, Abby Bartel and Bree Henderson all had one for Exeter in this Division I match.

SOMERSWORTH - Harper Blank had two goals, and Gabrielle Lensky scored on a penalty shot for Somersworth in this Division IV win.

Somersworth goalie Kezia Mawikere has seven saves, earning the shutout.

Isaac Kohl also scored for PCA (3-3).

LACONIA - Maddy True served for 18 points and the Saints earned this Division II win.

ROCHESTER - Tory Vitko's 22 assists, Aidyn Stone's 16 digs and Keira Little's four aces led Dover (5-2) to this Division I win.

DOVER - Kailey Holt had 14 assists, four kills, and four aces, leading PCA to this Division III win.

Individual game scores were 25-19, 25-14, 25-13.
