West Salem’s boys basketball team made quick work of Oregon City 82-60 on Wednesday in the first round of the OSAA Class 6A state playoffs.

The Titans move on to play at Beaverton on Saturday.

West Salem, the No. 11 seed, is one win from making it to the state tournament final site at the University of Portland’s Chiles Center.

OLYMPIANS AND CELTICS FALL IN FIRST ROUND

The Sprague boys’ season came to an end with a 72-47 loss at Gresham in the first round of the 6A playoffs.

McNary’s boys fell 54-48 at Clackamas.
