Wednesday's Milwaukee Brewers game against the Cincinnati Reds will be available to watch only on YouTube
YouTube games are back.
The Milwaukee Brewers game Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds will be available to watch only on YouTube, and not in its usual place on Bally Sports Wisconsin.
First pitch is slated for 11:35 a.m. Wednesday with announcers Scott Braun, Yonder Alonso and Amy Gutierrez.
Last year, four Brewers games were shuttled to the popular web video service and, once again, users can still watch without any special software or subscriptions (including a subscription to Bally Sports Wisconsin).
They'll just need an internet connection and a browser that can get them to the YouTube page.
You can find the broadcast at youtube.com/mlb or youtube.com/brewers, or at the Brewers official website. Viewers will not need to establish a special account.
Last year, the broadcasts debuted a new feature: The option to view the game with audio from the home or away radio feed. Viewers can access the settings and choose "audio track," with the choice of either the standard TV broadcast with the aforementioned announcers or one of the radio feeds.
Milwaukee Brewers broadcasts have thus far dodged exclusive broadcasts on other streaming services this season, such as AppleTV+.
