Girls basketball

Hannah Grudzien, Killingly: Sophomore forward scored a game-high 14 points, including nine points in the fourth quarter, as Killingly (6-6) held off Plainfield, 47-36.

Maddie Nordstrom, Plainfield: Sophomore guard scored 13 points to help the Panthers rally from a 23-point deficit against Killingly but Plainfield (4-5) fell short, 47-36.

Ashlyn Bill, Norwich Tech: Senior center scored nine points in the Warriors’ 53-25 non-league loss against Westbrook.

Wrestling

Seth Christie (106), Caleb Christie (113), Aiden Christie (145), and Liam Gervais (170), Griswold: Wolverines wrestlers all earned pins in a 54-24 win against Montville.

Gymnastics

Sarah Fedeli, Norwich Free Academy: The junior placed second in bars (7.9), floor exercise (9.0), and all around (33.0) to help the Wildcats defeat Old Lyme, 130.05-to-113.05.
