Another week, another sub-.500 record for our expert panel (2-5).

The Jaguars suffered their worst defeat of the season to the Detroit Lions last Sunday, essentially ending all hope of a Jacksonville playoff run.

This week they head to play AFC South foe Tennessee, a team they have not fared well against in recent history.

The Jaguars have lost five in a row to the Titans, and nine of their last 10. They also haven't won in Nashville since Nov. 10, 2013, a span of eight consecutive losses in the Music City.

Can the Jaguars break their streaks against the Titans, or does another disappointing game lie ahead?

Here's what our prediction experts have to say.

The Jaguars likely won't be able to move the football on the ground against the Titans and, until proven otherwise, the team's defense is a complete mess. It should be an easy win for the Titans to get back on track. Trevor Lawrence also has an injured big left toe, casting some doubt on his ability to move around the pocket, if he suits up after not practicing this week.

A battered offensive line, Derrick Henry has not been effective lately, and potentially not having their top receiver. That’s exactly the kind of game the Titans win – especially in Nashville against this franchise. It’s hard to pick them to win in Nashville until they finally do.

It's not trending well for the Titans. Derrick Henry is coming off a pedestrian four-game stretch where he has 75 carries for 208 yards (2.7 average) and 1 TD. Plus, GM Jon Robinson was fired after last week's 35-10 debacle at Philadelphia. So this could be a convenient get-well matchup against a shaky offense for the Jaguars. Now if for any reason Trevor can't play, I take it all back.

Too much is going against the Titans: injuries, a bad week of weather that forced practice indoors, the turmoil surrounding the firing of their general manager. And streaks like this aren't supposed to last this long in the NFL.

The Jags are reeling and they're up against one of the best defenses in the league. I don't think Trevor will play this week as he recovers from a toe injury. Oh yeah, there's this guy named Derrick Henry. You might've heard of him.

Yes, Derrick Henry is in a four-week slump, probably the deepest of his Titans career. But for the Yulee native, there's nothing quite like a game against the Jaguars' defense — he's gained huge totals like 238 and 215 yards against Jacksonville. Add the Jaguars' miserable record in Nashville and their defensive woes last week, plus the questions about Trevor Lawrence's status, and it adds up to a tough assignment for the Jags.

Granted, Tennessee looked terrible against the Eagles last week, but when the Jaguars visit Nashville, they just don't win. After getting pushed around by the Lions, I see the Titans handling business against the Jaguars as they head toward another AFC South championship. The future is bright for the Jaguars, but the outlook for the next game is not.
