Week 3 Stark County high school football scoreboard, box scores — see who won Friday night

Week 3 of the high school football season arrived with just a handful of Stark County-area teams sitting at 2-0. And all of them will be playing at home Friday night.

Within Stark County, only Lake and Fairless moved to 2-0, while Louisville handed Northwest its first loss. Just outside the county, Carrollton and Malvern also each improved to 2-0, while Green suffered its first loss, an overtime heartbreaker to Tallmadge.

Other featured games, McKinley's tough start continued with a loss in its home opener;

Canton South and Sandy Valley played for the first time in 51 years;

Central Catholic could not overcome a rough first half against a team riding a long regular-season winning streak;

And Massillon reeled off its second straight win.

Those results are sure to shake up our latest power rankings.
