Thursday, Sept. 22

Holbrook 52, Atlantis Charter 18: Cameron Campbell stepped up with 4 touchdowns for the Bulldogs (1-1), including a pick-six.

Pembroke 35, Plymouth North 26: Brendan Kanya (eight carries for 149 yards, three TDs) and Jack Tosone (15 carries for 152 yards, two TDs) led the way for the Titans (2-1). Joey Moriarty hauled in a pair of TD receptions, including an 87-yarder, in the loss for the Eagles (0-3). Both of Moriarty's TD catches were thrown by Shamus Whiting.

Friday, Sept. 23

Blue Hills 30, Southeastern 20: The Warriors (1-2) knocked off the Hawks (1-2). Jake Reissfelder (28 carries for 156 yards) and Caiden Montas (12-84) each ran for third-quarter touchdowns as Blue Hills dug out of a 14-0 first-quarter hole. QB Brayden Mahoney got the Warriors on the board in the second quarter with a 2-yard TD run. Montas (32 yards) and Reissfelder (15 yards) added scoring runs in the third, and Aidan Landers added a 30-yard TD run in the fourth as the Warriors ran for 310 yards overall. Linebacker James Bennett had 8 tackles (2 for loss) and Jadilmilson Cardoso made 5 tackles. For Southeastern, Joey Tully had three catches for 63 yards and a TD. Nick Levine had 99 yards passing and a TD and added 98 yards and a rushing TD on the ground.

Abington 21, Sandwich 7: The Green Wave (1-2) picked up their first win of the season.

Arlington Catholic 40, Archbishop Williams 7: The Bishops drop to 1-2. CJ Jackson caught a 2-yard TD pass from Joseph Schwartz for Archies.

Hull 35, Boston English 8: The Pirates (3-0) rolled to the non-league win as Jogn Gianibas needed just six carries to rush for 121 yards and two TDs. Luke Richardson completed one pass (a 47-yard TD pass to Tyler Sordillo) and ran two times (both TDs). Aidan Murphy made 14 tackles.

Braintree 50, Framingham 21: The Wamps (2-1) won the on the road as Mario Franciosa-Johnson scored three TDs, including two from 65 yards. Ryan Brooks ran for two TDs. Perry Lane returned a fumble for a score.

Cathedral 27, Randolph 6: The Blue Devils fall to 1-2.

Bishop Stang 36, Cardinal Spellman 20: Jack Duffy threw three TD passes for the Cardinals (1-2), including two to Matt O'Donnell. Jay Comeau had the other TD catch.

Cohasset 28, Norwell 7: Declan Lee recovered a fumble in the end zone for the Skippers (2-1). Thomas Hansen and Shane Mulcahy both ran for TDs while Will Baker threw a 30-yard TD pass to Liam Appleton. Jackson Adams hauled in a 40-yard TD pass from Connor O'Hare for the Clippers (1-2)

South Shore Tech 6, Upper Cape Tech 0: Norwell's Jarred Madden (82 yards rushing) scored the game's lone TD on a 43-yard run in the first quarter for the Vikings (2-1). Brady Hofeman (Hanover) led the team with six tackles and broke up a pass. Owen Lemere (Rockland) also had six tackles.

Bridgewater Raynham 26, Barnstable 10: The Trojans end their home opener with a win behind strong play by the power junior duo of Dawson Dubose (35 carries, 190 yards) and Declan Byrne (three rushing TDs).

Canton 14, Dedham 0: The Bulldogs (3-0) have their most wins in a season since 2019.

Oliver Ames 35, Dighton-Rehoboth 0: The Tigers improved to 2-1 as Chad Silva ran for two TDs and Wayne Casey threw two TD passes. Bronson Burnham (25 yards) and Nick Ferrini (70 yards) both hauled in TD catches while Jordan Young ran for a 2-yard TD.

Duxbury 34, Franklin 21: The Dragons (3-0) earned an impressive win on the road over a Division 1 contender. Matt Festa threw three TD passes to three different receivers (88 yards to Chris Walsh, 1 yard to Adam Barr, 40-yards to Colin Quinlan) and ran for another on the ground. Alex Barlow added 1-yard TD run.

Plymouth South 21, Foxboro 14: Casious Johnson (17 carries, 179 yards) ran for a pair of TDs, including a 72-yarder, as the Panthers (3-0) remain undefeated. Cole Brunstrom threw a 10-yard TD pass to Jamie Andrews. Liam Davis sealed the win with a late interception and Aleks Cavanaugh had a pair of QB sacks.

Hanover 51, Stoughton 14: The Hawks (2-1) defeated the Black Knights (1-2) as Ben Scalzi was 19 of 22 passing for 300 yards and three TDs. He also scored a rushing TD. Nick Freel turned 14 carries into 142 yards and two TDs. He added two catches for 51 yards and a TD. Dave Quinlan and John McDonald hauled in TD passes from Scalzi. Joe Curran had nine catches for 87 yards. Vinny Mancini (47 yards rushing, six tackles) played well on both sides of the ball. Jonathan Goncalves returned an interception 90 yards for a score for the Black Knights while Liam Dunn ran for a 51-yard TD score.

Milton 42, Holliston 6: Owen McHugh threw four TD passes, including two to Michal Fulton, and ran for another for the Wildcats (3-0). Luke Sammon hauled in a 75-yard TD pass. Jack Finnegan returned an interception for a TD.

Brockton 42, Lincoln-Sudbury 34 (OT): The Boxers saw a 28-7 lead disappear as the Warriors tied the game at 28-28 in the third quarter. Brockton's Rowan Baptiste III blocked an extra point in regulation to send the game to overtime. Cameron Monteiro scored the winning TD in the first OT.

North Quincy 36, Malden Catholic 6: Junior Nate Sampson caught a 35-yard TD pass, returned a fumble 65 yards for a score and brought an INT back 41 yards to set up another TD as the Raiders (2-0) rolled at home. Sophomore QB Mike Galligan scored on runs of 63 yards and 1 yard and threw the TD pass to Sampson on a broken play. Ben Hudach capped NQ’s scoring with a late 49-yard run. MC falls to 0-3.

Taunton 24, Middleboro 13: Jacob Briggs had TD runs of 57 and 66 yards in the loss for the Sachems (2-1).

East Bridgewater 21, Norton 7: Cylas Hickey, Jake Shaw and Sean Kenn scored TDs for the Vikings (2-1).

Silver Lake 14, Norwood 6: The win was the first for the Lakers (1-2) with Mark Killinger as coach. Seth Wakefield ran for 150 yards, including an 8-yard TD run, and he added a pair of extra-point kicks. Nick Peterson also ran for a TD.

Rockland 25, Whitman-Hanson 20: The Bulldogs (2-1) handed the Panthers (2-1) their first loss of the season. Jacob Coulstring (50, 39 and 34 yards) ran for three TDs in the win while Patrick Moriarty threw a TD pass to Gaven Wardwell. Cam Burrows threw for over 100 yards and had a TD pass to Baden Kain in the loss. Evan Casey and Will Frazier each had 1-yard TD runs. Casey made 11 tackles while Patrick Dolan had a tackle for a loss.

Marshfield 24, BC High 20: The Rams (1-2) rallied from a 17-0 halftime deficit to pick up their first win of the season. Aidan True threw the winning TD to Charlie Carroll with a 26-yard pass with 53 seconds remaining. Carroll also hauled in a 55-yard TD pass from Anthony Molander. Molander connected with Jason O'Keefe for a 70-yard TD pass and Molander also ran for a TD. Andre Pena intercepted two passes. Brody Rice ran for a 6-yard TD and Max Galvin threw a 6-yard TD pass to Hayes McCarron in the loss for the Eagles (0-3). Rory Kennelly kicked two field goals.

Saturday, Sept. 24

Carver 43, St. John Paul II 0: Tyler Lennox ran for two TDs and threw another as the Crusaders (1-2) picked up their first win of the season. Jameson Helms tacked on a pair of TDs. Nate Glover and Darrian King also found the end zone.

West Bridgewater 43, Nantucket 8: QB James Harris ran for four TDs as the Wildcats picked up their first win of the season. Will DeLuca added two TDs on the ground and Sam Salter returned a fumble on a high snap on a punt 12 yards for a TD.

Hingham 20, Weymouth 15: Will St. Pierre (3-yard run) had a rushing TD for the Harbormen (3-0). Brendan Riley ran for a 79-yard TD for the Wildcats (2-1).

Quincy 48, Westwood 46: Jacey Ham caught a 24-yard TD pass from Andrew Novak with 2 seconds left as the Presidents won a wild one at home to improve to 3-0. Ham (3 catches, 117 yards, 2 TDs) and Novak (6 of 11 passing, 147 yards, 2 TDs; 12 carries for 100 yards) also connected on a 73-yard TD pass to put Quincy up 20-14 in the first half. The Presidents trailed, 40-34, at halftime and through a scoreless third quarter before Gabe Rodrigues' TD run put the hosts up, 41-40, early in the fourth. Rodrigues rushed 28 times for 118 yards and three scores. Stephen Gallant returned a kickoff 80 yards for a TD.

Thayer Academy 34, St. Mark's 7: The Tigers kicked off their ISL season with a win as senior QB Grady Russo threw for two TDs and ran for another while amassing 177 total yards from scrimmage. Five different players scored for Thayer. Russo was 3 of 5 passing for 72 yards with TD throws to Sean Toland (25 yards) and Gibson Akoh (42 yards). Russo ran three times for 105 yards, including a 77-yard scoring burst. Nate Austin-Johnstone (9 carries, 103 yards) had a 42-yard TD run, and Jason Ortega (5 carries, 55 yards) added a 4-yard TD run.

Milton Academy 31, Buckingham Browne & Nichols 14: The Mustangs won their ISL season opener under the lights at Milton High as QB Jake Holtschlag (Hingham) and running backs Matt Childs and Owen Howlett (Bridgewater) had short TD runs and Ben Waterman (Milton) kicked a field goal and four PATs.
