All the Week 4 South Shore high school football scores and highlights
The theme for Week 4 of high school football on the South Shore is Friday Night Lights.
Every team will be playing under the lights this week, with all but two games scheduled for Friday.
Canton, maybe the area's most surprising 3-0 team, kicks off the week against an always-tough Mansfield team. Abington and North Quincy will play for just the fourth time ever on Thursday.

Three games really jump out on Friday (Hull at Randolph, Plymouth South at Hanover and Walpole at Milton).
Hull and Randolph is a rematch of last year's Division 8 Super Bowl which the Blue Devils won. South and Hanover are meeting in a pivotal Patriot League Fisher Division game. Walpole and Milton, both in the Bay State's Herget Division, enter with impressive 3-0 records.

Week 4
Thursday, Sept. 29
Mansfield 49, Canton 0: The Bulldogs (3-1) dropped their first game of the season.
Abington 20, North Quincy 14: William LeBlanc ran for over 100 yards and two TDs while AJ Nash intercepted two passes for the Green Wave (2-2). Mikey Galligan threw TD passes for the Raiders (2-1).

Friday, Sept. 30
Southeastern 28, Tri-County 6: Brian Breder (four catches, 97 yards) and Carl Pierre (four catches, 92 yards) both hauled in TD catches while Nick Levine was 8-of-11 passing for 130 yards for the Hawks. (2-2).
Bishop Feehan 30, Archbishop Williams 0: The Bishops fall to 1-3.
Holliston 35, Braintree 6: James Tellier threw a 48-yard TD pass to Mario Franciosa-Johnson in the loss.
Holbrook/Avon 44, Cape Tech 20: Marquis Dobay-Lindsay rushed for 235 yards on 17 carries with four touchdowns and a 2-point conversion, including TD runs from 57 and 60 yards out in the Bulldogs' 30-point first half. Cameron Campbell also scored a 25-yard rushing touchdown as the Holbrook/Avon (2-1) offense paced for 409 yards of total offense.
Hull 31, Randolph 20: In a rematch of last year's Division 8 Super Bowl, the Pirates (4-0) exacted some revenge against the Blue Devils. Hull's Luke Richardson ran for a TD and threw a TD pass to John Gianibas (4 catches for 70 yards). Gianibas (7 carries for 150 yards) also ran for a score, as did Nick Tiani. Austin Bongo rushed 6 times for 127 yards. Logan Chenette added a field goal while going 4-for-4 on extra points. Aidan Murphy made 22 tackles. Gardy Augustin, Greg Izedonmwen and Vidinic Bembeleeza had TDs for Randolph.

West Bridgewater 40, Brighton 26: Make in two in a row for the Wildcats (2-2). The loss is the first of the season for Brighton. Will DeLuca ran for three TDs (86, 24 and 31 yards) while Sean Carter ran for two. James Harris added the other.

Cardinal Spellman 17, Cathedral 6: Jack Duffy kicked a field goal and threw long TD passes to Kristian Simpson (30 yards) and Matt O'Donnell (50 yards) for the Cardinals (2-2). Brian Gallagher had an interception. Duffy also had an interception.

Rockland 21, Norwell 0: The Bulldogs improve to 3-1 while Norwell falls to 1-3. Gaven Wardwell intercepted his third pass of the season and hauled in a 25-yard TD pass from Michael Moriarty. Jacob Coulstring capped a 70-yard drive, on which he accounted for all the yards, with a 1-yard TD run. He added an insurance TD run in the fourth quarter and finished with 188 yards. Lucas Leander had 43 yards rushing and 78 yards receiving. Moriarty was 7-of-10 passing for 103 yards.
Blue Hills 30, Diman 27: The Warriors (2-2) get back to .500. Jake Reissfelder ran 16 times for 131 yards and a TD. Caiden Montas (9 carries for 72 yards) and Aiden Landers (6 carries for 64 yards) also had TD runs, and Brayden Mahoney threw a 48-yard TD pass to Rhys Draper.
Marshfield 31, Bridgewater-Raynham 13: The Rams improve to 2-2 as Aidan True ran for two TDs. Anthony Molander threw a 3-yard TD pass to Brady Crowley. Thomas Kelly kicked a 27-yard field goal. Nic Cupples scored on a 1-yard rush. Jack Regan (two sacks) and Will Devine (interception) had defensive contributions. Dawson Dubose ran for 196 yards and a TD for the Trojans (1-3).
Cohasset 48, Carver 14: Liam Appleton was all over the field for the Skippers (3-1), scoring three touchdowns on offense (two receiving, one rushing) and returning an interception back 75 yards to the end zone in the third quarter. Will Baker tossed for three scores and rushed for one. Jamie Smith hauled in a 30-yard TD reception from Baker in the second quarter and Charlie Donovan ran for a 5-yard TD in the fourth. The Crusaders (1-2) were led by QB Tyler Lennox (241 yards, 2 TDs), receiver Robbie Peterson (five catches, 120 yards) and the touchdowns scored by Derek Lopes and Jameson Helms.
Everett 42, BC High 16: The Eagles fall to 0-4.
Middleboro 42, East Bridgewater 16: Trevor Puryear returned an interception 29 yards for a score and also hauled in a 9-yard TD pass for the Sachems (3-1). Jacob Briggs ran for three TDs, covering 6, 9 and 11 yards, while Bolu Sotonwa had a 9-yard TD run. Ethan Pohl threw fourth-quarter TD passes to Patrick Donahue (60 yards) and Sean Kenn (6 yards) for the Vikings (2-2).
Brockton 52, Natick 17: Cam Monteiro ran for four TDs in his first start at QB for the Boxers (3-1). K.O. Osinubi, Christensen Paul and Mauricio Powell also scored TDs. Donovan Munroe, Rowan Baptiste III and Devin Daveiga were all standouts on defense.
Stoughton 35, Oliver Ames 32: There were three lead changes in the final 92 seconds. Stoughton's Jarred Daughtry put the Black Knights (2-2) ahead, 27-26, with a 2-yard TD run with 1:32 remaining but OA's Chad Silva (five TD runs) put the Tigers (2-2) up with a 48-yard TD run. The Black Knights got the ball back with 25 seconds remaining and Daughtry found Alex Hunyh with a 63-yard TD pass for the winning score. Daughtry also threw a 61-yard TD pass to Tagh Swierzewski. Huynh also had a 13-yard TD run.
Silver Lake 36, Plymouth North 8: Nick Peterson punched in a pair of touchdowns for the Lakers (2-2). Wes Griffin (7-yard rushing TD), DJ Gilmore (1-yard rushing TD) and John Dickenson (1-yard rushing TD) also capitalized on short-distance red zone chances for Silver Lake. Plymouth North drops to 0-4.
Plymouth South 29, Hanover 27 (OT): The Panthers (4-0) saw a 21-0 lead disappear but held on for the win in overtime over the Hawks (2-2). Casious Johnson had a 25-yard TD run and a 74-yard TD reception for South before leaving with a shoulder injury late in the first half. Panthers QB Cole Brunstrom threw a 21-yard TD pass to Nicholas McNulty in regulation. On the first possession of OT, Brunstrom hit Jamie Andrews with a 10-yard TD pass and found McNulty on a 2-point conversion pass. Hanover answered with QB Ben Scalzi's 6-yard TD run, but South denied Nick Freel on the 2-point conversion run to clinch the victory.

Scituate 28, Pembroke 27: The Sailors (1-2) held off the Titans (2-2). Led by offensive linemen Danny Thompson and Shane Johnston, Colin Morley and Jameson Hodlin both ran for over 100 yards. The Sailors finished with over 300 yards rushing. William Chatteron had two TDs, including a 23-yard pass from Jackson Belsan. In the loss, Jack Tosone hauled in 15 receptions for 162 yards and two TDs. He also ran 11 times for 45 yards and a TD and returned a kickoff 90 yards for a score. Jake Falco was 12-of-20 passing for 307 yards with two TDs.
Bristol-Plymouth 36, South Shore Tech 6: The Vikings fall to 2-2. Jared Madden ran for a TD. Todd Egan had 57 yards rushing while Matt Sage had 51.
Milton 28, Walpole 14: In a battle of undefeated Bay State Herget teams, the Wildcats (4-0) prevailed.

Needham 28, Weymouth 7: The Wildcats fall to 2-2.
Hingham 13, Whitman-Hanson 7: Jack Nicholas (7-yard run) and Jeremy Aylward (14-yard run) scored TDs for the Harbormen (4-0). Evan Casey had a 1-yard TD run for the Panthers (2-2). For W-H, Casey and Sam Pace combined for 17 tackles. Patrick Dolan had an interception. Dolan hauled in a 45-yard pass from Cam Burrrows to set up the Panthers' score.

Saturday, Oct. 1
Lawrence Academy 40, Milton Academy 18: Former Hanover High quarterback Michael Landolfi was 17 of 27 passing for 222 yards and four TDs for visiting LA (2-0). Jacob Holtschlag was 14 of 18 passing for 202 yards for the Mustangs (1-1).
BB&N 41, Thayer Academy 20: The Tigers (1-1) lost on the road.
